Català: Projecte de col·laboració de l'Arxiu Ismael Latorre Mendoza amb Amical Wikimedia i Wikimedia Commons.

Projecte: Fotografies històriques d'Arxius de la Ribera del Xúquer.

L'Arxiu allibera avui aquesta imatge amb títol Barraques de Beniparrell feta per Ismael Latorre Mendoza.

Història d'aquesta fotografia:

  • Carmelo Planelles, corresponsal del diari Levante a Beniparrell va trucar a Ismael Latorre l'estiu de 1957 i li va demanar que fes fotografies de les barraques de Beniparell i del barranc, i així presentar un projecte i rebre una subvenció per poder dragar el barranc, ja que si venia un aiguat hi havia perill. Latorre ens comenta que no arribaren a temps, el Túria es va desbordar el 14 de octubre de 1957: vam arribar tard, i en la riuada d'octubre de 1957 el barranc de Beniparrell es va desbordar i s'emportà les barraques per davant
