Der Zeilberg ist der größte Vulkanschlot der Heldburger Gangschar.
Um den Berg führt der "Stein-Erlebnispfad", der an mehreren Aussichtspunkten gute Blicke in die Umgebung und in den ansonsten nicht zugänglichen Steinbruch gewährt. An einem "Klopfplatz" kann das Basaltgestein mit Olivinknollen studiert werden. Geologie: Heldburger Gangschar (Tertiär) Vulkanschlot (Lfu.Bayern)
