Si quieres contestar, únete. :-) Una leyenda narra cómo la talla de la Virgen traída de Tierra Santa por el Santo Toribio, obispo Astorga, fue escondida con el fin de preservarla de las invasiones musulmanas. El rastro de la imagen se perdió y siglos después, los templarios encontraron la talla oculta en el interior de una encina mientras se aprovisionaban de madera. La Virgen adoptó el apelativo del árbol en el que había sido hallada. |
