| Description |
English: The south wing of the Bastrop County Courthouse and Jail Complex located at 803 Pine St, Bastrop, Texas, United States was added in 1980. The Smithville architectural firm of Leonard Architecture, Charles L. Leonard AIA, Texas Licensed Architect designed the two-story south wing and new handicapped accessible elevator, all approved by the Texas Historical Commission. County Judge Jack Greisenbeck and the Bastrop County Commissioners Court awarded the architectural and engineering design contract to Leonard. The courthouse and jail complex were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 20, 1975. |
