| Description |
Français : Ce bateau à propulsion électrosolaire a été construit en matériaux composites. Il est de type catamaran. Il sert de "passeur", c' est-à-dire de navette pour assurer la très courte liaison maritime (quelques centaines de mètres dans l' avant port) entre le port de La Rochelle et la Ville en Bois. Sur le toit de ce "passeur", on peur distinguer une rangée de panneaux photovoltaïques qui transforment les rayons du soleil en courant électrique. Les panneaux sont reliés à des batteries qui alimentent en électricité le moteur. Ce bateau électrosolaire a été mis en service en avril 2009 et a été construit par l' entreprise Alternatives Energies. Sur cette photographie, le "passeur" navigue dans l' avant-port. |
