English: Batley Signal Box and Lady Ann Crossing The level crossing is controlled by the manned signal box. When there are no trains at Christmas the gates are swung open and left open until trains resume on the 27th December. the large stone wall is one end of the railway bridge which was made from metal girders that spanned the railway at this point. |
