Summary

Description
English: Battery Observation Post
The Fire Control Tower was a four story building for directing fire from the gun battery at the sea wall nearby. Its ground floor was the armoury, the first floor a telephone room and the top floor housing rangefinder equipment. The basement which was prone to flooding appears not to have been used. Once again the building was loop-holed for small arms defensive weapons.
This is a photo of listed building number 1389463.
