TwoScarsUp has added the troop positions, arrows, and label. The source for the positions is a map called "The First Contact", on page 147 of the book "Shiloh and the Western Campaign of 1862", by O. Edward Cunningham and edited by Gary D. Joiner and Timothy B. Smith. The source for the Union camps is a 1959 West Point Atlas of American Wars Volume I, image 40 as found in the Library of Congress. |
