Deutsch: Detail der Dampflokomotive vom Typ Bayerische S 3/6 mit der Nummer 3634 (18 451) im Verkehrszentrum des Deutschen Museums in München.
Durch die Speichen des Treibrades ist eine der beiden innen liegenden Treibstangen zu erkennen, die von den innen liegenden Hochdruckzylindern angetrieben werden. Die Treibachse ist als Kurbelwelle ausgebildet und wird als Kropfachse bezeichnet.
English: Detail of the Bavarian type S 3/6 steam locomotive number 3634 (18 451) in the transportation department of the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
Through the spokes of the driving wheel one of the two internal connecting rods is to be spotted which are driven by the internal high-pressure cylinders. The driving axle is designed as a crankshaft.
