Description
500px provided description: Beaghmore is a complex of early Bronze Age megalithic features, stone circles and cairns, 8.5 miles north west of Cookstown, County Tyrone in Northern Ireland, on the south-east edge of the Sperrin Mountains. These images were captured on an overcast November afternoon in 2013. The stones were uncovered in the early 1940s during turf cutting, revealing some 1,269 stones. Dating from between 2000-1200 BC, they may be only a fraction of such features in the Sperrins, yet to be uncovered. []
