Summary
editDescriptionBeardmore Relics (map).jpg |
English: A map illustrating the location where the Beardmore Relics and the Kensington Runestone were 'discovered'. Both finds were considered locally to be evidence of Norse exploration in North America—however, neither finds are taken seriously by academics. The locations of Hudson Strait, Hudson Bay, James Bay, and Lake Nipigon are also shown. I utilized the following file: File:North America satellite orthographic.jpg, which was created by NASA, and uploaded by User:Ghalas. I used Inkscape and GIMP to created this image—both programs are free, cross-platform, graphics editors. |
