I captured this picture when I was involved in a creative Pharm.D. research project to develop a chemically-stabilized antiseptic solution of Dakin at the Bab El Oued academic Hospital in Algiers. My picture shows the chemical phenomenon of dissolution when Potassium Permanganate is added to the solution of Sodium Hypochlorite during the preparation of the stabilized antiseptic solution of Dakin. |
