A escadaria de 35 largos degraus em pedras de lioz, datada do século XVIII, ganhou o nome em homenagem a uma bela escrava que, a partir do trabalho árduo e "favores" prestados aos coronéis portugueses, comprou a própria alforria. A wide staircase of 35 steps in lioz of stones, dating from the eighteenth century, won the name in honor of a beautiful slave who, from the hard work and "favors" provided to colonels Portuguese, bought their own emancipation. |
