English: Bede Cottages Semi-derelict late 17th century cottages with 18th & 19th century alterations. In 1710, Samuel Mottram founded a charity for the cottages to be used for 2 widows or widowers of the Parish, with the use of half an acre of adjoining land and 2 chaldrons of coal.
