Summary edit

Description
English: Beechings Way The old railway axed in the 1960's that ran from Bellwater Jnc. to Conningsby Jnc., crossed Midville Lane here. The line was known as the "New Line" because it was only completed in the early years of the twentieth century. It was partially taken up during WW1 and shipped to France to serve as a military railway near the allied front. Some of the track sank in the English Channel along with the ship carrying it. It was rebuilt between the wars but only carried light traffic and was again discarded in the Beeching Era. This is the view East toward Bellwater Jnc. which situated on the Boston to Skegness.
