| Description |
English: Beginning of the Droitwich Barge Canal The lock separates the canal from the River Salwarpe. The "new gates" were installed many years ago as part of the long-running restoration of the Droitwich canals. The canal was re-instated through Vines Park and a basin was built but time has taken its toll and the basin's banks are now unsafe and slipping in. Presumably this will all be rectified with the impending restoration of through navigation. |
