Description
English: Wilmington, North Carolina and the surrounding area continue to grow at an astounding pace. On the southwest corner of Carolina Beach Road (US 421) and Independence Boulevard, site preparation is underway for The Crossroads at Independence, a shopping center to be anchored by Harris Teeter. A Food Lion already sits across Carolina Beach. Large-scale residential development is planned for whatever vacant land remains in the immediate vicinity.
