In carrying out its instantaneouscalculation, the computer takes account of all important factors, such as windvelocity, latitude, barometric pressure, and type of propelling powder National Defense Research Commit-tee. We have not always been ableto meet these demands, for had wemet all of them we would have hadlittle technical staff left and it wouldnot have been in the interest of the many instances, this loan of personnelto the Services, particularly where oflimited duration, has been very help-ful in our own work.
