English: This is a so-called Bellypaint (or bellypainting). A painting on the belly of a pregnant woman. The goal is to create a nice reminder of this unique moment in the life of a woman.
Nederlands: Een bellypaint (werkwoord bellypainting) is het beschilderen van de buik van een zwangere vrouw. Het doel is uiteindelijk om een erg leuke herinnering te hebben van een uniek moment in het leven van een vrouw. Vaak wordt dit gebruikt voor op het geboortekaartje, maar het kan later ook op een canvas-doek of op een gipsen buik nageschilderd worden. Rainbow Creation, te Oirschot, is hiermee als eerste in Nederland begonnen. |
