This is supposed to be a rivet benchmark, though no rivet is visible. It has been given the number RV0481 http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm31283 The plate of the milestone went missing in the 1980s. It would have read: To Ledbury 5½ Miles To Upton 5 Miles 1780378 |
