| Description | Again shot through the shuttered gate is this cavernous waiting hall at Phnom Penh station. Love those rose wood slatted benches! Some trains in India used to have seats like these a few decades ago. The train tracks are at the far end. Cambodia's railways were being restored by the Australian company Toll Railways, but they had to abandon ship due to cost over runs and heavy delays. Toll had pretty ambitious plans for restoration of the railway. Work appears to be starting again in 2014, but it will be some time yet before trains are up and running once again in Cambodia.
