I took a morning walk around 6.30am through several small hamlets near the Cinangneng River, Bojong Jengkol, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency when I spotted these local boys. obviously nowhere to play, the six boys took on a neighbour's dirt yard and started a game. Despite Manchester United (MU) cancelled their Indonesia tour due to the July 17 Ritz Carlton and J.W. Marriott bombing, these boys went on to have a friendly game of football anyway. Shoes and flipflops optional, it was a fiesty game. With the ball volleying back and forth between the single goal keeper and football frenzy young players. (July 19) |
