English: Bend in the River Wye. Looking towards the Bunch of Carrots pub in the adjacent square. To the right is an embankment - The Stank, a flood defence which stopped the Wye flooding the village of Hampton Bishop during the horrendous floods of 2007. Alas, the village lies between two rivers and the River Lugg was not contained - the pub was flooded once again. See the water level at 743041 |
