Ritratti: Benedetto Maurizio di Savoia. Il dipinto è stato schedato nel 1988 al secondo piano di Palazzo Reale nel Deposito-Quadreria. Nel 1966, come si evince dall'invemtario, trovava collocazione nella Foresteria. Il ritratto di Benedetto Maria Maurizio duca del Chiablese (1741-1808) risente dei modi di Giovanni Panealbo (attivo tra il 1772 e il 1799), ritrattista ufficiale del fratello Vittorio Amedeo III. Si vedano le forti analogie con il ritratto parimenti ovale di Marianna di Savoia, sposata a Benedetto Maurizio nel 1775, conservato presso il Castello di Racconigi (N. Gabrielli, Racconigi, Torino 1972, p. 213).
