Description
Deutsch: Mit einer Fläche von rund 24.500 Hektar ist das Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Gebiet Werra- und Wehretal im nordhessischen Geo-Naturpark Frau-Holle-Land das größte in Hessen und mit seinen 23 verschiedenen Lebensraumtypen auch eines der bedeutendsten. Vorrangiges Schutzziel ist die Sicherung von Buchenwäldern, mit kleinräumig eingestreuten Offenlandlebensräumen, als Jagdreviere der Fledermausarten Bechsteinfledermaus und Großes Mausohr.
