English: 1: 30 scale model of the brig "Maria Asumpta" paid for by popular subscription and offered as a seaman's votive offering in the church of Santa Maria de Badalona on August 15, 1994. The brig "Maria Asumpta" was built in Badalona in 1858 and sank off the north coast of Cornwall on 30 May 1995. The "Maria Asumpta" had been sailing for 137 years at the time and was considered the oldest active wooden sailboat in the world.
