Deutsch: Kirche „St. Petrus Banden“ in Bergeijk. Der noch bestehende gotische Chor wurde 1422 gebaut. 1650, zwei Jahre nach Übernahme der Kirche durch die Reformierten, stürzte der Turm ein und verwüstete einen großen Teil des Kirchenschiffs. Das wurde erst 1893 in der aktuellen Länge wiederhergestellt. 1965 wurde die Kirche aufgegeben und verfiel. Eine allgemeine Restaurierung erfolgte in den Jahren 1975-1977. Anfang 1994 wurde das Kirchengebäude wieder für Gottesdienste in Gebrauch genommen.
Nederlands: kerk „Sint Petrus Banden“ in Bergeijk. Het nog bestaande gotisch koor werd gebouwd in 1422, de kruispanden in 1525. In 1650, twee jaar nadat de kerk in handen kwan van de hervormden, stortte de toren in en verwoestte een groot deel van het schip. Dat weerd eerst in 1893 in de tegenwoordige lengte hersteld. In 1965 raakte de kerk buiten gebruik en jammerlijk in verval. Een algehele restauratie volgde in de jaren 1975-1977. Begin 1994 werd het kerkgebouw opnieuw voor de eredienst in gebruik genomen. |
