Description
Deutsch: Als erstes Bauwerk der neuen Strecke wurde 1896 der 5311 m lange Gravhalstunnelen zwischen Upsete und Myrdal in Angriff genommen. 1902 erfolgte der Durchschlag, aber erst am 31. August 1905 konnte der erste Bauzug ihn durchfahren.
English: The first structure on the new route was the 5,311 m long Gravhals Tunnel between Upsete and Myrdal, which was startet in 1896. The breakthrough took place in 1902, but it was not until August 31, 1905 that the first construction train was able to drive through it.
