Description
Deutsch: Ehemaliger Getreidespeicher des Berliner Osthafens an der Stralauer Allee in Friedrichshain, hier gesehen von der Kreuzberger Spreeseite. Das Gebäude wurde bei der Anlage des Hafens 1907-1913 nach Entwürfen von Friedrich Krause errichtet. 2000/2001 wurde es saniert und für die Aufnahme von Büros und Lofts umgebaut. Das Gebäude ist als Teil der Gesamtanlage Osthafen denkmalgeschützt.
English: The former granary of Osthafen harbor on Stralauer Allee in Berlin-Friedrichshain, here seen from the Kreuzberg riverside of the Spree. It was built during the construction of the harbor (1907-1911) to a design by Friedrich Krause. In 2001/2001, it was renovated and rebuilt to house offices and lofts. The buildings has been designated as a historic landmark.
