Description
Deutsch: Ehemaliges Fabrikgebäude des Nähmaschinenherstellers Singer in der Köpenicker Straße 9 in Berlin-Kreuzberg, hier gesehen von der anderen Spreeseite in Friedrichshain. Die Bauten auf dem Grundstück, ein Fabrikgebäude sowie wie ein Wohn- und Lagerhaus, wurden im Jahr 1928 erbaut. Ab 1939 befand sich hier die Berliner Zentrale von Singer. Der Komplex ist Bestandteil des denkmalgeschützten Bauensembles Köpenicker Straße
English: Former factory building of the sewing machine manufacturer Singer at Köpenicker Straße No. 9 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The structures on the compound, a factory building and a residential and storage building, were constructed in 1928. From 1939 on, Singer's general office for Berlin was also located here. The complex is part of the protected historic buildings area Köpenicker Straße.
