English: Former "Commercial Building W.M.F." at Leipziger Straße 112, corner of Mauerstraße (on the left) in Berlin-Mitte, built 1904 to 1905 by the architects Ludwig Eisenlohr and Carl Weigle for Württembergische Matallwarenfabrik (Württemberg Metalware Factory). This is one of only a few preserved historic buildings on the northern side of Leipziger Straße. Although the facade has been modernized, it still shows elements of the art nouveau style of the time. The building has been designated a historic landmark. |
