Description
Deutsch: Geschäftshaus und Bürogebäude in der Poststraße 13-14 im Nikolaiviertel in Berlin-Mitte, ehemaliger Sitz der Berliner Müllabfuhr AG (BEMAG). Das Gebäude mit Seitenflügel und Quergebäude entstand um 1895 durch Umbau mehrerer Barockbauten. 1935 erhielt es bei einer Umgestaltung durch Paul Baumgarten eine moderne Fassade mit rot-gelben Ziegeln. Weitere Umbauten folgten 1987 und 1994. Das Gebäude ist heute Sitz der Direktion und Verwaltung der Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin. Als Teil des Ensembles Nikolaiviertel ist es denkmalgeschützt.
