Description
Deutsch: Das "Schmale Haus" in der Poststraße 30 im Nikolaiviertel in Berlin-Mitte. Das dreiachsige Geschäftshaus mit einer Fassadenlänge von nur 9,50 m wurde 1905-1906 von den Architekten Hart & Lesser erbaut. Das Sockelgeschoss ist rustiziert, die Werksteinfassade des Obergeschosses bogenartig vorgewölbt. Die schrägen Fenster rechts verweisen auf die Lage des Treppenhauses. Darüber befindet sich ein Balkon. Das Haus wurde bei der historisierenden Wiederherstellung des Nikolaiviertels in den 1980er-Jahren in einen Neubau integriert. Als Teil des Bauensembles Nikolaiviertel ist es denkmalgeschützt.
