Deutsch: Die Tafel Nummer 15 des 2011 erstmals verwirklichten Projekts »Historische Orte sichtbar machen« rund um die Potsdamer Straße steht vor dem Haus Bülowstraße 37 mit dem folgenen Text:

„Das Ballhaus

Eine Säule am Vorderhaus erinnert an die Geschichte eines Ballhauses, das früher im Hof der Bülowstraße 37 stand. Dieser Veranstaltungsort mit mehreren Sälen hieß im Kaiserreich »Königshof«. Unter dem Namen »Nationalhof« wurde er in der Weimarer Republik zu einem Treffpunkt der Homo­sexuellen­bewegung. Der mondäne Continental-Club und der Bund für Menschenrecht nutzten das Ballhaus für ihre Veranstaltungen. Ein Saal wurde in den 1920er Jahren zum Kino »Nationalhof-Lichtspiele« umgebaut.

1926 gab es erstmals Bälle »Nur für Damen«. Im Herbst 1927 traf sich im »Nationalhof« eine Lesben­gruppe, der Damen-BIF-Klub, benannt nach der Zeitschrift »Blätter idealer Frauen­freundschaft« von Selli Engler. Ab 1928 organisierte Charlotte Hahm, Leiterin des 400 Mitglieder starken Damenklubs Violetta, überaus erfolgreich Lesben- und Transvestitenbälle.

Walter Draesel übernahm das Ballhaus 1943 und nannte es »Walterchen«. Nach Kriegsende organisierte Charlotte Hahm wieder Homosexuellen-Bälle. Noch 1971 fand hier ein »Tuntenball« statt. Walter Draesel starb 1965. Das Kino bestand bis 1969 unter dem Namen »Olympia«. Das Hinterhof-Gebäude wurde 1975 im Zuge der Sanierungen in Schöneberg abgerissen.“
