Summary
editDescriptionBernie Rudberg Memorial Pavilion @ Hopewell Junction CNE Depot-1.jpg |
English: The 2019-built Bernie Rudberg Memorial Pavilion along the Maybrook Trailway at the Hopewell Junction Central New England Railway Depot in Hopewell Junction, New York. Hopewell Junction Depot originally served the Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad, the New York and New England Railroad and Dutchess County Railroad, all three of which became part of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and assigned under their subsidiary known as the Central New England Railway from 1899 to 1927. A series of picnic tables can be found inside the pavilion, however as you walk beneath it, you'll find that the structure is more than just a mere picnic shelter.
