Centsprent met 4 x 4 houtsneden met afbeeldingen van taferelen en personen uit de vaderlandse geschiedenis zoals: Albert Beiling die levend begraven werd, de sprong van Jan van Schaffelaar, admiraal Jacob Simonszoon de Rijk, Herman de Ruiter belaagd op slot Loevestein, Kenau Hasselaar, beleg van Leiden, turfschip van Breda, landvoogdes Margaretha van Parma, Alva, de bloedraad, watergeuzen bij Den Briel, Unie van Utrecht, moord op Willem de Zwijger, de Armada, slag bij Nieuwpoort. Bevat vierregelige rijmende onderschriften.
