Description
English: Wayside shrine, Uffeln Mitte, in Ibbenbüren-Uffeln, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Betstock Uffeln Mitte in Ibbenbüren-Uffeln, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Der aus dem Jahr 1861 stammende Sockel aus Sandstein enhtält die Inschrift Kommet und sehet/meineKinder/Ob ein Schmerz wie/der meinige/Christus ist gestorben/damit wir leben. Der Aufsatz des Bildstocks zeigt ein Pietà-Relief. Der jetzige Standort Uffeln Mitte 8 ist nicht der ursprüngliche. Das „Objekt der Volksfrömmigkeit“ steht seit 1987 komplett unter Denkmalschutz.
