Description
Deutsch: Ehemaliger Prototyp-S-Bahn-Triebzug für 15 kV, 162/3 Hz. Nach einem Fahrmotorschaden wurden die Wagen vor 1990 ausgemustert und sollten zu Fahrleitungsmontagewagen umgebaut werden. Dafür wurden der Dachaufbau und die Wasserbehälter für Waschwasser aufgesetzt. Ob die Wagen jemals dafür eingesetzt wurden, ist unwahrscheinlich. Die Kupplungen wurden nicht angepasst. 1993 steht der 280 001 schon alleine und in schlechtem Zustand im Bahnhof Beucha.

Das Zwergsignal G im V‌ordergrund wurde erst 1988 in Verbindung mit dem Fahrleitungsbau zwischen Borsdorf und Beucha und dem Wiedereinbau der Weiche 30 auf dem Ostkopf Richtung Brandis eingebaut, es sollte Einfahrten von Güterzügen aus Brandis auf das Gleis 4 und das Umspannen in Beucha ermöglichen. Wirklich genutzt wurde es dafür praktisch nie.

Mit dem eStw-Bau verblieben in Beucha nur noch zwei Bahnhofsgleise. Immerhin wurde zwischen Borsdorf und Großbothen kein Bahnhof aufgehoben.
