Summary

Description
English: Bhai Dega Temple - A grand 3-tiered Kashi Bishwonath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, was built by Bhagirath Bhaiya, minister of Lalitpur king Sriniwas Malla, in 1678 AD. It fell to the ground in the major earthquake of 1934, after which it was rebuilt as a simple one-storey structure with a domed roof. The temple is now being reconstructed in the original pagoda style by the Cultural Heritage Conservation Group, in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology and the UNESCO office in Nepal.
