Object history Text: 1575; Wittenberg; Harrer, Hans
Notes Meuser was court binder to the Elector of Saxony. All edges gilt, gauffered and painted (with Harrer's arms). Traces of 4 pairs of ties. Macchi states; Bound in Dresden after 1578 by Caspar Meuser for Hans Harrer. A similar binding is kept in Leipzig, University library on martin Luther, Der Psalter mit den Summarien, Leipzig, Ernst Vögelin, 1570, shelfmark Biblia 1347 (Deutsche Bucheinbände, n. 97).
