English: 120912-N-IL826-287 Buffalo, N.Y. (Sep. 12, 2012 ) Adm. Tim Alexander, commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (left) and Rear Adm. Gregory M. Nosal, Commander, Carrier Strike Group 2 accept a gift from Byron W. Brown, Mayor of Buffalo during the National Anthem at the Welcoming Ceremony event during Buffalo Navy Week 2012. This one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. The weeklong event commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy.
