Français : Aperçu bief St-Germain à Magné (79), sous passerelle joignant rue des Deux Grèves au chemin du Verdonnier.

Historiquement, un bief est un petit canal de dérivation, destiné par exemple à alimenter un moulin.

Ce passage donne accès au hameau de Sevreau depuis centre de la commune, partagé avec la ville de Niort, distante de 4 km.

C'est la porte d'entrée orientale du marais poitevin, depuis chef-lieu départemental.
