Summary edit

Description
English: A bird's eye view on two nearly identical models of the sailboat Beneteau Oceanis 411 (12.50 m or 41 feet long) from 15 m height (top of mast), photographer in a Bosun's chair doing repairs. This was a training sailing trip for advanced yachtsmen/sailors starting in Tarifa, south of Spain, in 2004. When leaving the bay of Gibraltar in quite heavy, gusty winds but sun, a line needed for reducing the size of the main sail ripped, just when it was desperately needed due to the wind being too strong for the sailboat with the main sail at full size. Luckily, the situation was managed without any further damage. In the afternoon back in the marina (sport harbour) of Gibraltar, somebody had to go up (be pulled up in a textile chair called bosun's chair, more precise) to the mast top to replace the ripped line, which was the photographer and uploader doing this for the first time.
