Deutsch: Überreste der Birkenhainer Landstrasse im Spessart in der Nähe der ehemaligen Zollstation und Herberge Bayerische Schanz. Typisch für Altstrassen ist hier ein Hohlweg zu sehen, der für Reiter und schmale Pferdewagen geeignet war. So wie auf diesem Bild darf man sich gut ausgebaute Fernreisewege des Mittelalters vorstellen.
