| Description |
English: Bishopsgate, London EC2. We are looking down Bishopsgate from the junction with Threadneedle Street towards the site where the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters at 38 Bishopsgate used to be situated. The building, along with other nearby buildings, has been demolished and the tallest building in London nicknamed "The Shard" is going to be built there. A far cry from when the 38 Bishopsgate building was constructed and was not permitted to accommodate more people that had been accommodated in the previous buildings on the site.
