Summary

edit
Description
English: Seven Georgian silver salvers with the Bisse and Challoner crests, and the arms of Bisse impaling Tottenham added c. 1812. The salvers were manufactured by John Tuite (1732), Robert Abercrombie (1736), James Schruder (1740), William Peaston (1745), Peter Taylor (1747) and 1750-Henry Morris (pair). With the ARMS of Bisse impaling Tottenham added c.1812, with crests of Challoner and Bisse. (The title of the file was renamed when it was transferred from English Wikipedia. It should read Bisse-Challoner arms on seven silver salvers rather than 'crests', as this new titling implies a mistaken understanding of the term 'crest'.Rodolph2 (talk) 01:12, 14 May 2014 (UTC))
