English: Bittersweet and Hawthorn Scarlet berries of Bittersweet, or Woody Nightshade [Solanum dulcamara], on a plant climbing up a Hawthorn bush by the side of the Braid Burn in Blackford Glen Road. They are poisonous, and the plant is related to the potato [also a Solanum]. The darker red fruits at the top of the picture of those of the Hawthorn
