Summary

edit
Description BLM protests at the federal courthouse in Portland, OR have been going on for over 60 days. Although the police attacked the protestors every night with tear gas, pepper spray, stun grenades, rubber bullets, non-lethal munitions, the protestors refused to stop their resistance. In early July, Trump ordered federal troops there to protect the federal courthouse against "violent anarchists." Unidentified feds were grabbing protestors off the streets, driving them off in unmarked vehicles and detaining them for hours without charge. The feds were also seen firing a projectile at 26-year old Donovan La Bella, causing a skull fracture which required emergency surgery. They also beat and pepper sprayed a 54-year old Navy veteran who was just standing there. Their violent attacks using copious amounts of tear gas, pepper spray, stun grenades, rubber bullets, etc. against non-violent protestors alarmed the people, mayor Ted Wheeler, governor Kate Brown and other officials. Attorney general Rosenblum filed a lawsuit for the feds to be removed. In response to the escalating violence at the protests, the Wall of Moms began to join the protestors last week to "protect them from the feds." Soon, dads, teachers, nurses, doctors, healthcare workers, and veterans joined the moms to form a barricade between the feds/ cops and the protestors. What is at stake is not only Black Lives Matter, but also our 1st Amendment and civil rights, and our resistance against a fascist police state.

Public domain
The Public Domain Mark (PDM) is not a copyright license, but a symbol used to indicate that a work is in the public domain. When it is applied by the author or the copyright holder, community consensus has decided such works as being public domain in the US and countries where it is legally possible to release own work to the public domain. In the countries where this is not possible, the copyright status of the work remains undetermined.
If a file is tagged with Public Domain Mark by someone other than the author or the copyright holder, a more specific copyright tag such as one found at Commons:Copyright tags/General public domain must be applied. If this is your own work, please use {{Cc-zero}} instead.
