Summary

Description
English: Black medick (Medicago lupulina) A prostrate, creeping plant that thrives on well-trodden ground such as paths and lawns. It is a close relative of the fodder plant Lucerne and its tiny yellow clover-like flowers mature into inky-black seed pods that look like clusters of miniature grapes - its name refers to these and to the plant's supposed origin in Medea or Persia.
