On peut lire dans le livre de Pierre-Paul Dubuisson, Armorial des principales maisons et familles du royaume, 1757, tome premier, page 114 : "d'azur, à la barre crénelée d'argent, accotée de deux étoiles de même" Sachant que l'on peut lire dans le même ouvrage, les définitions suivantes : "L'azur signifie royauté, majesté, beauté. (...) L'argent signifie innocence, blancheur, virginité. (...) La barre est dans une disposition contraire à la bande, c'est-à-dire de gauche à droite : on en voit peu dans les Armoiries, parce que cette pièce est une brisure que prennent les enfants naturels" |
